My Inspiration

Why I became a doula:

My call to assist mothers is driven by my Faith. As a mother myself, I know what it is like to lack support. No woman should be left behind. It is so important that women feel validated and encouraged in birth, and by promoting full body autonomy and unwavering support I can help build a positive experience. If I can help mothers look back on their births and postpartum with joy, we can change the narrative about birth - one healed mama at a time. It's essential to leave this world better than you found it.

Approach to Birth

The most important thing I want expecting parents to know:

I am a nurturing, motherly figure and want to hold mothers so they feel safe and equipped with tools to position, advocate and sink into birth naturally.

Emotional Support

All three stages are so sacred in different ways, but all in all I am here to create a warm, loving environment in each phase. I will be actively listening to ensure you are validated and respected.

Doula Misconceptions

Common misconceptions about doulas that I  would like to address:

Doulas are not meant to step in, replace or disregard your partner. We encourage husbands to get involved and aid in the birth process. Doulas are not meant to advocate for you, but to empower you and your partner to come prepared and advocate for your needs.
